L'Antidote, a French ensemble founded by violinist Justin Taylor, is scheduled to perform at Teatro La Fenice in Venice on September 14, 2026. Teatro La Fenice is one of Italy’s most famous opera houses, located in the San Marco district of Venice. Originally constructed in 1792, it was destroyed by fire multiple times – notably in 1837 and again in 1996 – and meticulously rebuilt each time. The current theatre, a reconstruction completed in 2003 following the devastating 1996 fire, maintains the original’s neoclassical design with significant contributions from architects Aldo Rossi and Carlo Scarpa during previous restorations.
