The hall’s acoustics are renowned and have been praised by musicians for their clarity and warmth. Throughout its history, Carnegie Hall has hosted performances by nearly every leading musician of the past century, becoming a symbol of artistic excellence. It underwent a major renovation completed in 1991, restoring many of its original architectural details while upgrading facilities. The hall comprises three distinct performance spaces: the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, Zankel Hall, and Weill Recital Hall – the 2027 performance will be held in the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.
