The band, originating from Nashville, Tennessee in the late 1980s, is known for its distinctive blend of slowcore, country, and electronic music. Often characterized by Kurt Wagner’s understated vocals and a deliberately lo-fi aesthetic evolving over their career to incorporate more sophisticated arrangements, Lambchop’s sound is frequently described as melancholic and atmospheric. Their discography includes albums such as *Fluke* (1998) and *Is This What I Came For* (2001), demonstrating a consistent exploration of texture and emotional depth.

Culturgest is a cultural centre located in the Beato district of Lisbon, housed within a former industrial complex. Inaugurated in 1993, it was conceived as part of the Expo '98 project but opened post-event.
