Ksenija Sidorova, a Latvian accordionist renowned for her virtuosic technique and innovative approach to the instrument, will perform at ZKO-Haus in Zurich on June 5th, 2027. Sidorova’s musical style blends classical training with influences from jazz, contemporary music, and folk traditions, often featuring original compositions alongside arrangements of works by composers such as Bach and Piazzolla. She is recognized for expanding the perceived capabilities of the accordion through complex arrangements and dynamic performances.

ZKO-Haus (Zürcher Kunsthaus Organisation Haus) is a venue operated by the Kunsthaus Zürich, primarily dedicated to chamber music and intimate concerts. Originally constructed in 1938 as a lecture hall for the Kunsthaus, it was renovated in the 1980s to better serve its function as a concert space. The hall is known for its excellent acoustics and relatively small capacity – seating approximately 160 people – fostering a close connection between performers and audience. It regularly hosts performances by both established and emerging musicians across various genres within classical and contemporary music. The building itself is architecturally significant as an example of early modernist design in Zurich.
