KIRK, performing as a solo artist, creates music generally described as atmospheric electronic with influences from ambient, IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), and experimental sound design. His work frequently incorporates field recordings and textural elements, resulting in soundscapes often characterized as both immersive and subtly rhythmic. He has released albums on several independent electronic labels and gained recognition for his live performances utilizing modular synthesizers and custom-built audio-visual systems.

The venue, Colony, is located in Woodstock, New York. Originally built in 1895 as a meeting hall for the Woodstock Volunteer Fire Department, the building subsequently served various community functions including a dance hall and a social club. In more recent decades it transitioned into a performance space known for hosting a diverse range of musical acts and artistic events. It’s recognized for its intimate setting and historical significance within the Woodstock arts community; having hosted performances by numerous established and emerging artists across genres. The building maintains much of its original architectural character while functioning as a contemporary venue. The concert is scheduled for June 27th, 2026.
