The Tung Auditorium is a recently renovated performance venue located within the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall complex. Originally opened in 1941 as the art deco Martin Harris Concert Hall, it underwent a significant £48 million refurbishment completed in 2023. The renovation aimed to restore many of the original architectural features while incorporating modern acoustic enhancements and accessibility improvements. The auditorium is designed to accommodate a diverse range of performances including orchestral concerts, chamber music, contemporary music events and other live performances. It boasts a capacity of approximately 750 seats and is known for its intimate setting and excellent acoustics.
