Stockport Plaza is a Grade II listed Art Deco theatre and cinema located in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Originally opening in 1932 as a super cinema and variety theatre, it hosted performances from numerous prominent entertainers during its early years, including Charlie Chaplin and Laurel & Hardy. The building underwent periods of decline in the latter half of the 20th century, functioning as a bingo hall for several decades before a significant restoration project began in 2018. The Plaza reopened in 2021 following extensive refurbishment work aimed at reinstating many of its original Art Deco features while modernizing facilities.
