Doornroosje is a prominent music venue located in Nijmegen’s city centre, housed within a former Lutheran church dating back to 1860. The building underwent significant renovation in the late 1960s after falling into disuse as a religious site and was subsequently repurposed as a cultural centre focusing on music. It’s known for hosting a diverse range of musical genres – from pop and rock to jazz, world music and electronic – alongside theatre performances and other events.
