Jools Holland is a British musician, singer, composer, and television presenter known for his work rooted in boogie-woogie piano. His musical style blends rhythm and blues, jazz, soul, and pop influences, often featuring his distinctive piano playing alongside a large ensemble including vocals and brass sections. He gained prominence as the bandleader for the house band on the long-running BBC television program *Later… with Jools Holland*.
Music Hall Worpswede is a renowned venue located in the artists’ colony of Worpswede, Germany. Originally constructed in 1906 as a theatre and dance hall designed by artist Heinrich Vogeler, it’s a significant example of Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) architecture. The building served various purposes throughout its history, including as a community centre and during World War II was briefly used as a forced labour camp administration building.
Following extensive renovation in the 1980s, Music Hall Worpswede re-established itself as a prominent cultural venue hosting a diverse range of performances including concerts, theatre productions and exhibitions. Its intimate setting and historical significance contribute to its unique atmosphere.
