The Picturedrome is a long-standing music venue in Northampton with a history dating back to 1937. Originally built as a super cinema and dance hall, it operated as a popular entertainment space throughout the mid-20th century, hosting film screenings and performances by prominent artists of the time. Following periods of closure and redevelopment, it reopened as a dedicated live music venue in 2015. The building retains some of its original Art Deco features while being equipped with modern sound and lighting systems. It now regularly hosts a diverse range of musical acts spanning various genres, with a capacity of approximately 700 attendees.
