The Janoska Ensemble will perform at Sint Vituskerk in Blaricum, Netherlands on July 2nd, 2026. The ensemble is known for its distinctive approach to classical music, blending elements of classical repertoire with influences from jazz, pop, and world music. They are particularly recognized for their energetic performances and innovative arrangements, often featuring improvisation and a high degree of virtuosity on violin, viola, and cello. The group originally formed as siblings – František, Roman and Lucia Janoska – and have since expanded to include other musicians.

Sint Vituskerk Blaricum is a neo-Gothic church completed in 1888 designed by architect Pierre Cuypers, also known for Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum and the Central Station. It replaced an earlier medieval church on the same site. The church features stained-glass windows depicting scenes from the life of Saint Vitus, as well as other religious figures. Its interior is characterized by its high vaulted ceilings and ornate detailing typical of the neo-Gothic style. The building is considered a significant landmark within the municipality of Blaricum and serves as an active place of worship alongside hosting cultural events.
