The Wallis opened in 2013 following the adaptive reuse of the historic Beverly Hills Post Office. Originally designed in 1933 by architect William Norman Aitken in the Post Modern style, the building underwent significant renovation to become a multi-form arts center. The Wallis features the 500-seat Bram Goldsmith Theater, suitable for large-scale theatrical productions and concerts; the 150-seat Lovelace Studio Theater; and the outdoor Gruman’s Egyptian Theatre. It hosts a diverse array of programming including dance, theatre, music, film, and visual arts.
