Interpol is scheduled to perform at The Eastern in Atlanta, Georgia on October 16, 2026. The band is recognized for their contribution to the post-punk revival of the early 2000s, characterized by atmospheric soundscapes, driving basslines, and vocalist Paul Banks’ baritone delivery. Their music often incorporates elements of dark wave, new wave, and art rock, creating a distinctive and melancholic aesthetic. Interpol released their debut album *Turn on the Bright Lights* in 2002 to critical acclaim and have since released six further studio albums, maintaining a consistent stylistic identity while evolving their sound.

The Eastern is a standing-room venue located in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Originally constructed in 1908 as a medicinal chemical company warehouse, the building underwent renovations to become a music venue in 2014. It has since become known for hosting both established and emerging artists across various genres including indie rock, electronic music and hip-hop. The space features exposed brick walls and high ceilings retaining much of its industrial character. It's capacity is approximately 850 people making it a mid-sized venue within Atlanta’s music scene.
