Interpol is scheduled to perform at Dune Peninsula at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, Washington on August 8, 2026. Dune Peninsula is a relatively recent addition to Point Defiance Park’s event spaces, having opened in 2023 following significant restoration efforts. Previously a landfill site, the area underwent extensive ecological remediation to become a publicly accessible park space. The peninsula offers views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains and was specifically designed to accommodate outdoor events with minimal environmental impact. Its capacity is estimated around 7,500 attendees for concerts. Point Defiance Park itself is Tacoma’s largest park, encompassing over 760 acres of old-growth forest, beaches, and gardens; it was established in 1888 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1996.
