Immanuel Wilkins is a contemporary jazz saxophonist and composer recognized for his emotionally resonant and spiritually-inclined approach to the genre. The Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, located in La Jolla, San Diego, is a privately supported cultural institution established in 1910. Originally founded as a reading club by Anna Bing Arnold, it evolved into a library focused on music and art. The Athenaeum presents a diverse range of performances throughout the year, including classical music concerts, jazz performances, art exhibitions and literary events. Its concert hall is known for its intimate setting and excellent acoustics which facilitates close engagement between performers and audience members.
