Ibibio Sound Machine will perform at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on November 20, 2026. The band creates a unique sound blending modern electronic music with elements of traditional Nigerian and Ghanaian highlife, Afrobeat, and palm-wine guitar music. Fronted by Eno Williams’ powerful vocals – often sung in Efik – their compositions feature synthesizers, guitars, and driving percussion creating a vibrant and danceable experience. Formed in London in 2012, Ibibio Sound Machine has released several critically acclaimed albums including *Uyai* (2017) and *Electricity* (2019).

Brudenell Social Club is a well-known independent venue located in the Hyde Park area of Leeds. Originally a working men’s club established in 1913, it transitioned into a music venue while retaining much of its original character. The club is recognised for its intimate setting and consistent support of diverse musical acts, spanning indie rock, alternative, and world music genres. It comprises a main room with a relatively small stage, a games room frequently used for smaller performances or DJ sets, and an outdoor beer garden.
