Ibibio Sound Machine will perform at Bristol Beacon on October 2nd, 2026. Bristol Beacon is a significant cultural venue in the city, undergoing a major redevelopment project completed in 2023. Originally known as Bristol Colston Hall, its name was changed following public consultation regarding the historical figure Edward Colston and his links to the transatlantic slave trade. The building itself dates back to 1873, initially constructed as a concert hall and dedicated by Queen Victoria. Throughout its history it has hosted a diverse range of performances including classical concerts, rock and pop acts, and theatrical productions.
