Hiroshima will perform at the Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 27, 2026. The group is recognized for pioneering a unique blend of jazz, pop, and traditional Japanese musical elements, often described as Asian-American fusion. Formed in Los Angeles in 1979, Hiroshima incorporates koto, shakuhachi, and taiko drumming alongside conventional instruments like keyboards, guitar, and bass to create a distinctive soundscape. Throughout their career, they have released numerous albums and contributed to film soundtracks, gaining a dedicated following for their instrumental compositions and melodic sensibility.

The Ludlow Garage is a historic music venue located in the Clifton neighborhood of Cincinnati. Originally established as an automobile dealership in 1928, it transitioned into a prominent rock club during the 1970s and early 1980s hosting nationally recognized acts such as The Pretenders and Blondie. Following a period of closure and subsequent renovations funded by community support, the venue reopened in 2016. It maintains its intimate setting while offering modern sound and lighting capabilities. Today it continues to host diverse musical performances spanning various genres.
