Hedras, a progressive metal band originating from Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico, will be performing at House of Blues Houston on July 18, 2026. Their music is characterized by complex arrangements, incorporating elements of djent, death metal, and atmospheric soundscapes. Frequently employing seven and eight-string guitars, Hedras’ compositions often feature intricate rhythmic patterns and dynamic shifts in tempo and intensity. The band has released several albums to critical acclaim within the progressive metal community, gaining a reputation for technically proficient musicianship and conceptually driven songwriting.

House of Blues Houston opened in 2005 and is located within the Ridglea Shopping Center. Designed to emulate the original House of Blues in Cambridge, Massachusetts, it aims to capture a similar atmosphere inspired by Delta blues culture. The venue features a main concert hall with a capacity of approximately 1,500 attendees alongside a smaller restaurant and bar area decorated with Americana and blues memorabilia. Throughout its history, House of Blues Houston has hosted a diverse range of national and international artists spanning multiple genres including rock, country, blues, and hip-hop.
