Hedras, a French black metal band formed in 2010, will be performing at the Aztec Theater in San Antonio, Texas on July 19, 2026. Their musical style is characterized by atmospheric and melodic black metal, often incorporating elements of progressive metal and post-rock. Lyrically, Hedras frequently explores themes of nature, mythology, and existentialism. The band has released four full-length albums to date: *Subterranean Indigo*, *Ameroka*, *Warped Judgement*, and *Our Souls*.

The Aztec Theater originally opened in 1926 as a movie palace designed in the Spanish Baroque architectural style. It was meticulously restored in 2014 after years of disuse and neglect, reopening as a multi-purpose venue for concerts, performances, and events. The building features ornate detailing including sculpted figures, intricate plasterwork, and a grand lobby space. Throughout its history, the Aztec Theater has hosted a diverse range of performers—from vaudeville acts in its early years to contemporary musical artists today—and remains a significant landmark within San Antonio’s cultural landscape. The theater's capacity is approximately 1,400 people.
