Heavensgate is a musical project primarily categorized within the realm of dark electronic music, often incorporating elements of industrial, EBM (Electronic Body Music), and synthwave. Their sound is characterized by distorted vocals, aggressive beats, and atmospheric textures, frequently exploring themes of dystopia and technological alienation. The project gained prominence in the early 2010s with a series of self-released tracks and has since developed a dedicated online following.

The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts, originally opened as a vaudeville theatre in 1927 named the Palace Theatre. Throughout its history, it has functioned as a cinema and a performance venue hosting diverse acts. Renamed the Palladium in the 1970s, it underwent significant renovations in the late 20th and early 21st centuries to modernize its facilities while retaining much of its original architectural detail.

The venue is known for its relatively intimate capacity – approximately 3,000 standing or 1,800 seated – which contributes to a close connection between performers and audiences. It's become a popular stop for touring national and international musical acts across multiple genres including rock, metal, electronic and hip-hop.
