Experience Harold López-Nussa live on December 6th

Harold López-Nussa will perform at Théâtre Max Jacob in Quimper, France on December 6, 2026. López-Nussa is a Cuban pianist and composer internationally recognized for his vibrant and innovative approach to jazz. His music blends Afro-Cuban rhythms – particularly those of son montuno – with elements of classical music, particularly baroque counterpoint, and contemporary jazz harmony. He often leads a trio format, showcasing virtuosic piano playing alongside bass and drums, though he also composes for larger ensembles.

Théâtre Max Jacob is a municipal theatre in Quimper, Brittany, France. Originally a Jesuit chapel constructed in the late 19th century, it was converted into a theatre dedicated to performing arts in 1986 and named after Breton poet Max Jacob. The venue hosts a diverse program encompassing theatre, dance, music (including jazz), and other performing arts events. It’s known for its intimate atmosphere and relatively small capacity – approximately 300 seats – fostering close interaction between performers and audience members. The theatre underwent renovations in the early 2010s to improve accessibility and technical capabilities while preserving its historical character. It regularly features nationally and internationally touring artists.
