Grateful Shred is scheduled to perform at Turntable in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 2nd, 2026. The band delivers high-energy performances centered around instrumental interpretations of Grateful Dead songbooks, blended with elements of progressive rock, jam band improvisation, and electronic music. Their sound often features extended instrumental passages and a focus on dynamic interplay between musicians.

Turntable is a relatively new Indianapolis venue that opened in late 2023. Located in the Fountain Square neighborhood, it’s designed specifically for live music, prioritizing audio quality and an intimate concert experience. The space was conceived by local musician & promoter Dave Wakeley and focuses on supporting both national touring acts and regional artists across various genres including indie rock, funk, jazz and electronic music. It features a state-of-the-art sound system designed by local audio engineer Kevin Dye and a capacity of approximately 250 people. The venue aims to provide a listening room environment emphasizing artist connection with the audience. It has quickly become known for its attentive audience and commitment to showcasing quality live performances.
