GORDA, the stage name of Danish DJ and producer Søren Hyldgaard, will perform a concert at the Brandenburg State Parliament (Landtag Brandenburg) in Potsdam, Germany on July 11, 2026. GORDA’s music is generally categorized as tech house and melodic techno, characterized by driving basslines, atmospheric soundscapes, and often incorporating vocal samples. He has gained international recognition with releases on labels like Get Physical Music and collaborations with artists such as Purple Disco Machine.

The Brandenburg State Parliament building itself holds historical significance. Originally constructed between 1884 and 1890 as the Prussian Landtag, it served as the parliament of Prussia until 1918. Following World War II and the division of Germany, it briefly functioned as a regional parliament for East Germany before being largely unused for several decades. After German reunification, extensive renovations were undertaken to restore the building to its former glory and reinstate it as the seat of the Brandenburg Landtag in 1993. The building represents a significant example of late 19th-century architecture and embodies Brandenburg’s political history.
