GlasBlasSing, a contemporary a cappella ensemble from Germany, will perform at the Tauberphilharmonie in Weikersheim on November 7, 2026. The group is recognized for its innovative arrangements and performance style, blending elements of classical music with jazz, pop, and world music influences. Their repertoire often features intricate vocal harmonies and percussive vocal techniques, moving beyond traditional choral sounds. The Tauberphilharmonie itself is a significant cultural venue in the Main-Tauber region of Baden-Württemberg. Originally constructed in 1988 as a multi-purpose hall, it underwent extensive renovation and expansion between 2019 and 2021 to specifically enhance its capabilities as a concert hall. The building now boasts improved acoustics and expanded seating capacity – accommodating approximately 650 guests – making it suitable for orchestral performances, chamber music, and large choral events. It serves as the primary performance space for the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz when they perform in the area and hosts a diverse range of national and international artists throughout the year.
