The Webster Theater, located in Hartford, Connecticut, has a history dating back to 1926. Originally constructed as a vaudeville house and movie palace named “The Webster,” it underwent periods of various uses including a roller rink and a nightclub before being renovated and re-established as a concert venue in the 1990s. The building retains much of its original Art Deco architecture, contributing to its distinctive atmosphere.

The venue is known for its intimate setting and standing-room-only general admission format for many performances, fostering close proximity between performers and audience members. It regularly hosts national touring acts across multiple genres, including rock, indie, electronic, and alternative music, alongside occasional theatrical performances and special events.
