Rec Room is a music venue located in Buffalo, New York. Established in 1980, it has become a significant fixture in the city’s live music scene, known for hosting a diverse range of national and regional acts spanning various genres including rock, punk, metal, and alternative. The venue is characterized by its intimate setting and relatively small capacity – approximately 300-400 people – fostering close interaction between performers and audiences. It underwent renovations in 2018 to improve sound quality and accessibility. The building itself is historically significant as a former auto repair shop.
