G. Love & Special Sauce will perform at Landmark on Main Street in Port Washington, New York on July 18, 2026. The band is known for their blend of blues, hip hop, jazz, and funk, often described as “hip-hopera” or “blues-rock with a rap edge.” Formed in Philadelphia in the early 1990s, G. Love (Garrett Levreault) and Special Sauce gained prominence for their distinctive sound featuring harmonica-driven melodies and lyrical storytelling. They have released numerous albums throughout their career and frequently tour nationally.

Landmark on Main Street is a performing arts center located in the heart of Port Washington. Originally built as a vaudeville house and movie theater in 1929, it underwent significant renovations and reopened in 2004 following a community fundraising effort. The venue now houses two theaters: the 668-seat Jeanne Rimsky Theater, designed for larger performances, and the more intimate 137-seat Alfresco Theater. Landmark hosts a diverse range of events including concerts, theatrical productions, films, and community gatherings; serving as a cultural hub for the Long Island North Shore region.
