Sam Shepherd, known professionally as Floating Points, will perform at Doss Trento in Trento, Italy on September 12, 2026. Doss Trento is a former anti-aircraft battery constructed during World War I, situated on the Belvedere plateau overlooking the city of Trento. Later repurposed during the Fascist era as part of Italy’s defense system between the two World Wars, it was extensively renovated in the early 2000s. Today, Doss Trento functions as a space dedicated to the memory of the Great War and the conflicts of the 20th century; it houses a permanent museum exhibition focused on this history alongside spaces for cultural events. The venue's architecture reflects its military past while incorporating modern design elements suitable for exhibitions and performances. Its location offers panoramic views of the surrounding Trentino landscape.
