The People’s Leisure Club is a relatively new venue established in 2022 within a repurposed industrial space in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh. It quickly gained recognition for its focus on showcasing emerging and alternative musical talent, particularly within the genres of electronic, experimental, and independent music. The club prioritises high-quality sound systems and intimate performance spaces. It has become known for its commitment to supporting local artists alongside attracting international acts. The building itself retains some original architectural features from its previous life as a light engineering workshop, contributing to its unique aesthetic. It operates as both a live music venue and a small capacity club space.
