Filarmonica della Scala, founded in 1954 by musicians of Teatro alla Scala, represents one of Italy’s leading orchestral ensembles. The orchestra’s repertoire is broad, encompassing works from the Baroque period through contemporary compositions, with a particular strength in Italian opera and bel canto traditions. While maintaining a strong connection to the operatic world, Filarmonica della Scala performs extensively as a symphonic orchestra, undertaking international tours and collaborations with renowned conductors and soloists.

The concert on June 1st, 2027 will be held at Philharmonie de Paris. Opened in January 2015, Philharmonie de Paris is a modern concert hall complex designed by Jean Nouvel. It houses two primary performance spaces: the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez, known for its adjustable acoustics and vineyard-style seating arrangement accommodating approximately 2,400 people; and the smaller Salle de Découvertes intended for experimental music and educational programs.
