Fat Freddy’s Drop will perform at Paradiso in Amsterdam, Netherlands on October 13, 2026. The band is a New Zealand-based musical group known for their distinctive blend of dub, reggae, soul, jazz, and electronica. Often described as “midnight electro-dub,” their sound incorporates live instrumentation with heavy basslines, intricate drum patterns, and soulful vocals. Formed in Wellington in 1999, they have cultivated a dedicated international following through extensive touring and critically acclaimed albums.

Paradiso is a renowned concert venue located in the former Oudezijds Voorburgwal church in central Amsterdam. Originally consecrated in 1879, the building was transformed into a cultural center in the late 1960s by a group seeking an alternative space for artistic expression. It officially opened as a music venue in 1970 and quickly became integral to the Dutch counterculture movement.

The venue retains much of its original ecclesiastical architecture – including stained glass windows and a high vaulted ceiling – creating a unique atmosphere for performances.
