Ensemble Ad Hoc is a German instrumental group known for its interpretations of early music, particularly compositions from the 17th and 18th centuries. Their approach blends historical performance practice with a contemporary sensibility, often featuring arrangements and improvisations based on original scores. The Tauberphilharmonie in Weikersheim is housed within the historic buildings of the former Cistercian monastery and palace complex.
