Electric Swing Circus is scheduled to perform at Cholmondeley Castle on August 6th, 2026. The band blends live instrumentation with electronic music production, creating a sound often described as “nu-jazz” or “electro-swing.” Their performances incorporate elements of swing, jazz, funk, house and drum & bass, typically featuring a vocalist, brass section, and DJ.

Cholmondeley Castle, located near Malpas in Cheshire, England, has a history dating back to the 11th century. The current building largely reflects 19th-century rebuilding commissioned by George Cholmondeley, 1st Marquess of Cholmondeley. Prior to extensive Victorian alterations by Edward Blore in the 1840s, it was significantly remodelled in the Palladian style during the 18th century by architects such as James Wyatt.

The estate has remained the seat of the Cholmondeley family for over four centuries. Beyond its architectural significance, Cholmondeley Castle features extensive gardens open to the public at certain times of year and hosts various events. The castle grounds offer a substantial outdoor space suitable for large-scale performances like this concert.
