Elanor Moss is a contemporary jazz and improvisational vocalist and composer known for her distinctive vocal technique incorporating extended techniques, looping, and a cappella arrangements. Her work often explores themes of nature, memory, and the human voice as an instrument, blending elements of folk, classical, and experimental music. She has released several albums to critical acclaim, including “Celestial Garden” (2023) and “Sunken Ships” (2020).

Kuumbwa Jazz Center, the venue for the August 12th, 2026 performance, is a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting live jazz and world music in Santa Cruz, California. Founded in 1976 by musician Bonnie Hays, Kuumbwa began as a series of house concerts before establishing a permanent home in 1989. The venue is recognized for its intimate setting and commitment to supporting both established artists and emerging talent within the jazz community. It consistently ranks among the top small jazz venues in the United States.
