Earth will be performing at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 18, 2026. Earth is a Seattle-based musical group primarily recognized as pioneers of drone metal, a subgenre characterized by extremely slow tempos, minimalist compositions, and heavily distorted, reverberating guitar tones. Originating in the early 1990s from the ashes of grunge band Tad, Earth initially explored a similar sound before drastically shifting towards its now-signature atmospheric and meditative style with their 1993 album *Earth 2: Special Low Frequency Version*. Their music often draws inspiration from Western film scores, American folk music, and minimalist classical composition.

The Venetian Theatre is a prominent performance venue located within The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Opened in 1999 as part of the larger resort complex, it’s designed to resemble the canals and architecture of Venice, Italy. The theatre has hosted a diverse range of performers including musical acts, comedians and theatrical productions. It underwent a significant renovation completed in 2023 which included updated seating and enhanced audio-visual technology. The venue is known for its relatively intimate size compared to other large Las Vegas arenas, offering closer proximity between performers and audiences.
