Dunkelbunt will perform at Grg2 Zirkusgasse in Vienna, Austria on August 8th, 2026. Dunkelbunt is a German musical project known for creating a distinctive blend often described as “tanzbar” – meaning danceable – and incorporating elements of electro-swing, jazz, and various world music influences. Their sound features prominent use of brass instruments, samples, and a generally upbeat, energetic character despite often melancholic undertones. The project began in 2013 and has released several albums and EPs, gaining a following for their live performances.

Grg2 Zirkusgasse is an independent cultural center located in Vienna’s 2nd district. Originally a traditional circus building – hence the “Zirkusgasse” (Circus Street) designation – it was repurposed as a venue for diverse artistic expression in the late 1990s. It functions as a multi-purpose space hosting concerts, theatre productions, film screenings, and club nights. Grg2 is known for supporting alternative and experimental art forms and providing a platform for both established and emerging artists.
