Duane Eubanks is a guitarist and composer known for a style blending post-bop jazz with elements of funk, R&B, and world music. Chris’ Jazz Cafe, located in Philadelphia, has been a prominent venue for jazz performance since 1984. Originally founded by Chris & Carol Best, it has hosted many nationally and internationally recognized jazz musicians throughout its history. In recent years, pianist Orrin Evans has become significantly involved with the cafe, curating performances and often appearing with his own ensembles.
