Duane Eubanks is a contemporary jazz guitarist and composer known for a style blending elements of post-bop, fusion, and touches of blues and funk. His playing often features intricate harmonic explorations, rhythmic complexity, and a distinctive tone cultivated over decades of performance and recording. He has collaborated with artists across a wide spectrum of genres, including Mint Condition, Regina Carter, and his brother, trombonist Kevin Eubanks.
Chris’ Jazz Cafe, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been a prominent venue for jazz and blues performances since its establishment in 1984. Originally founded by Chris “Doc” Powell, it has hosted numerous nationally and internationally recognized musicians throughout its history.
