A significant restoration project completed in 2001 revitalized the venue, transforming it into a multi-disciplinary performing arts center. The Lensic now hosts a diverse array of events including concerts, dance performances, theatrical productions, lectures, and film screenings. It is recognized for its excellent acoustics and beautifully preserved architectural details, making it a cultural landmark within Santa Fe’s downtown plaza area.
