Their sound often features intricate percussion, melodic basslines, and layered vocal harmonies, sung primarily in Portuguese. Formed in Los Angeles by Brazilian-born Alex Kapray (bass/vocals), Peter Levin (keyboards), and childhood friend Gio Yamasaki (percussion/vocals), Dos Santos draws heavily from the musical traditions of their heritage while forging a contemporary style. They have released albums including “Welcome Come On In” and “El Lugar”.

Zebulon L.A. is a performance venue located in the Frogtown neighborhood of Los Angeles. It originally began as Zebulon in New York City in 2008, founded by owner/programmer Marc Fredricks and chef/owner Eben Klemm. The Los Angeles location opened in 2019, continuing the original’s focus on showcasing diverse and experimental musical acts alongside a full kitchen offering globally-inspired cuisine.
