Donder, a Belgian musical project led by composer and multi-instrumentalist Lander Gyselinck, will perform at the Mechelen Cultural Center on October 1st, 2026. Donder’s music blends elements of jazz, post-rock, and electronic music, often characterized by complex rhythmic structures, atmospheric soundscapes, and improvisation. The project frequently incorporates field recordings and explores themes relating to nature and the environment. Gyselinck is also known for his work with other ensembles such as BRZZVLL and tētē.

The Mechelen Cultural Center (Mechels Cultuurcentrum) is a significant arts venue located in the heart of Mechelen, Belgium. Opened in 1986, it serves as a hub for a diverse range of performing arts including theatre, dance, music, and visual arts. The center houses multiple spaces including a large concert hall ("De Concertzaal") with a capacity exceeding 800 people, smaller theatre spaces, exhibition areas and rehearsal rooms. It actively supports both national and international artists and aims to foster cultural participation within the local community.
