Django Festival Allstars presents a contemporary take on the gypsy jazz pioneered by Django Reinhardt. The ensemble carries forward Reinhardt’s distinctive style—characterized by virtuosic guitar work, driving rhythms, and improvisational energy—while incorporating influences from jazz standards and original compositions. Formed in New York City, the group features leading musicians dedicated to preserving and evolving this uniquely European-American musical tradition.

The performance is scheduled for August 13, 2026, at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado. The Boulder Theater opened in 1909 as a vaudeville house named the Boulder Bijou Dream. Over its history, it transitioned through various uses including a movie theatre before undergoing extensive renovations in the 1970s to become a dedicated live music venue.

The building is recognized for its historic architecture and intimate atmosphere, holding approximately 850 standing or 650 seated guests. It has hosted a diverse range of nationally and internationally touring acts across genres like rock, blues, folk, and jazz, becoming a significant cultural landmark within the city of Boulder and consistently ranking among Colorado's premier music venues.
