He rose to prominence in the 1980s and 90s as half of the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince (Will Smith), achieving mainstream success with hits like “Parents Just Don’t Understand” and “Summertime.” Beyond his collaborative work, Jeff has maintained a respected solo career producing for numerous artists and continuing to tour internationally.
