Saal 1 is a prominent event venue located within the AMO (Arbeiter-Musik-Oper) complex in Magdeburg. Originally constructed in 1928 as a community center for workers, the AMO underwent extensive renovation and reopened in 2008. Saal 1 specifically serves as a flexible space hosting a variety of events including concerts, club nights, and theatrical performances. It's characterized by its industrial aesthetic—retaining many original architectural features—and its capacity to accommodate both standing and seated audiences.
