DIIV is scheduled to perform at The Eastern in Atlanta, Georgia on October 16, 2026. The band, formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2011, creates music generally categorized as shoegaze and dream pop, often incorporating elements of post-punk and alternative rock. Their sound is characterized by layered, atmospheric guitar textures, reverb-drenched vocals, and introspective lyrical themes. DIIV has released three studio albums to date: *Oshin* (2012), *Is the Is Are* (2016), and *Deceiver* (2019), with a fourth album released in 2023 titled *Frog In Boiling Water*.

The Eastern is an independent music venue located in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Originally constructed in 1893 as a medicinal chemical company warehouse, the building underwent renovations to become a performance space in 2014. It’s known for its intimate setting and focus on showcasing a diverse range of emerging and established artists across genres including indie rock, electronic music, hip-hop, and experimental sounds.
