The Eastern is a live music venue located in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Originally constructed in 1908 as a medicinal chemical company warehouse, the building underwent renovations to become a performance space. It officially opened as The Eastern in February 2015. The venue is known for its intimate setting and focus on showcasing a diverse range of musical acts, frequently hosting both established and emerging artists across genres like indie rock, electronic, hip-hop and experimental music. Its capacity is approximately 800 attendees. The space maintains much of its original industrial aesthetic with exposed brick and high ceilings contributing to its atmosphere.
