DIIV, the American rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2011, will be performing at O Portal in San Po Kong, Hong Kong on July 7th, 2026. The band’s music is generally categorized as shoegaze and dream pop, characterized by atmospheric textures, layered guitars creating washes of sound, and often introspective lyrical content. O Portal is a relatively new live music venue situated within the industrial district of San Po Kong. Opened in late 2023, it quickly established itself as a significant space for both local and international independent music acts. The venue is known for its raw, warehouse-style aesthetic – a deliberate design choice reflecting a preference for intimate concert experiences and a focus on sound quality.
