Café v lese (translated as “Café in the Forest”) is a long-standing cultural venue located within the Divoká Šárka nature reserve in Prague. Established in 1993, it operates as a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting independent art and culture. The café itself is housed within a historically significant building – a former gamekeeper’s lodge dating back to the late 19th century – contributing to its distinctive atmosphere. It regularly hosts concerts, theatre performances, film screenings, and exhibitions, prioritizing genres outside of mainstream commercial appeal.
