Originally constructed in 1912 as the Théâtre Impérial, it underwent several name changes and renovations throughout its history, serving as a cinema and various entertainment spaces. It was extensively refurbished and reopened as MTELUS in 2011. The venue is known for its standing-room general admission layout and capacity of approximately 2,300 people. Its architecture retains historical features while incorporating modern sound and lighting systems suitable for diverse musical performances.
